📄 Terms & Conditions – Karla Grauzas Photography

By booking a session with Karla Grauzas Photography, you (the client) agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Copyright & Image Use

• All images remain the intellectual property of Karla Grauzas Photography.

• The client may not alter, filter, or retouch the images in any way using editing software or social media filters. If reposting, the original images must remain intact.

• If images are shared publicly (including online), credit must be given to Karla Grauzas Photography.

 

2. Photographer’s Right to Use Images

• Karla Grauzas Photography reserves the right to use any image from your session for promotional purposes, including (but not limited to) the website, business Instagram, Facebook page, printed flyers, digital ads, exhibitions, or portfolio materials.

• We understand and respect that some photos may hold special emotional value to our clients. If there is a specific image you prefer not to be used, please inform us in writing within 5 days after receiving the final gallery. We will always do our best to respect your wishes.

 

3. Client Usage Rights

• Clients receive personal usage rights: You may print and share your photos for personal use (such as family albums, gifts, or private social media accounts).

• Commercial use, resale, or use for contests, advertising, or editorial purposes without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

 

4. Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of [50%] is required to secure your session date.

• The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.

• Invoices will be sent by email. Payment can be made via [methods you accept: bank transfer, PayPal, etc.].

 

5. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the session.

• In case of bad weather or personal emergencies, sessions may be rescheduled based on availability.

• No-shows or same-day cancellations may result in loss of deposit.

 

6. Delivery of Photos

• Edited digital images will be delivered via an online gallery within [10 business days].

• The number of photos delivered depends on the package booked.

• Additional edited photos can be purchased at an extra fee.

7. Editing Style

• All images are professionally edited in Karla Grauzas Photography’s signature style (natural, soft, and timeless).

• Raw or unedited files are not available for viewing or purchase.

• Requests for additional retouching (beyond standard editing) may be subject to an extra charge.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

• While every effort is made to ensure the highest quality of service and image delivery, Karla Grauzas Photography is not liable for unforeseen circumstances, equipment failure, or events beyond our control.

• In the unlikely event that final images are lost, damaged, or unavailable, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.

 

9. Client Cooperation

• Clients are expected to arrive on time and ready for the session. Delays may shorten the time available or affect the quality of the images.

• Children should be supervised at all times.

 

10. Privacy & Data

• Your personal data (email, contact information) is stored securely and will never be shared with third parties, except when necessary for the delivery of services.
